• Made of colorless borosilicate glass (D 263 M) with optimum hydrolytic resistance• This ultra-thin glass is produced solely by two specialized glass companies worldwide using patented down-draw technology with expensive platinum orifices to ensure blister- and striae-free glass• “Ultra-thin glass foils” are steadily controlled in terms of the chemical composition as well as glass thickness and waviness• Glass surfaces are powdered with very fine particles to prevent sticking while stacking flat cover slips• Manufactured according to ISO 8255/1 and are ready to use• Thickness No. 1 (0.13 – 0.17 mm)
